Privacy Policy
This policy statement has been prepared to help Chesterville pharmacy   "we", "us", "our"  to comply with our privacy obligations under the National Privacy Principles for the purposes of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and to inform you about your privacy rights.

About the information we hold:

To help meet your health care needs via our digital services we may hold and use records, including your name, email, phone number and address details or other information that you supply us. This personal information will be used only for the purposes of meeting your health care and consumer needs. Under certain circumstances we may need to collect additional information (such as health information) from third parties. We will only collect this information with your consent where it is required by law or where the collection is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to your health and we have not been able to contact you to obtain your consent.  You need to be aware that if you do not provide us with certain information about yourself, in some circumstances we may be unable to provide a service that you require.

Our Disclosure and Information Practices:

The personal information we hold is stored in a secure manner. We may outsource some internal functions, for example, data warehousing or hosting of servers, to third party contractors (who may be located in other countries). We may need to disclose personal information to those third-party providers for the service of your needs.

If you have chosen to receive our newsletter or to receive information about other goods or services offered by us, we will give you the opportunity to opt out from receiving further information when we send such communications to you. If at any time you wish to opt out from receiving marketing communications from us, please contact us or change your subscription status with use. Subject to certain limited exceptions permitted by law you may access your personal information that we hold about you. RETURNS POLICY

Australian orders

Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, as we want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

Change of mind returns

If you have changed your mind about your order, we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund provided that:

1. The items are returned within 7 days of purchase;
2. You can show your original receipt, online tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase at the time you return the items;
3. The items have not been used or damaged in any way including that:
   • They are in their original packaging including manuals, pamphlets and all accessories; and/or
   • They are unopened, unused and in their original saleable condition;

Unfortunately, due to their nature and use, items in the following categories are not eligible for change of mind returns:

1. Scheduled items/medicines (prescribed or over the counter)
2. Baby formula
3. Fragrances
4. Vitamin supplements
5. Consumable products (e.g., food and drinks)

Where an item is eligible for a refund, we will refund the price of the item to your original payment method. Shipping costs for the order and return will not be refunded.

Any items returned that don’t comply with our change of mind returns policy are unable to be refunded.

Other returns

We will accept returns and provide you with a refund, exchange or repair where the product is:

1. is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
2. significantly different to those shown or described to you, or
3. not fit for its intended purpose, or
4. unsafe.

Where an item is eligible for a refund of this kind, we will refund the price of the item as well as any associated shipping costs to your original payment method.
